Arcus LGBTQ Project, Bushey

The YC Hertfordshire Arcus LGBTQ Project in Bushey is for all young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the Hertsmere area aged 13 to 17. Come and join this enthusiastic group and meet other young LGBTQ people in your area. Arcus is a supportive project where you'll have fun and learn new creative skills such as photography, sewing, art and film-making.

Bushey Wheels Youth Project

At the Bushey Wheels Youth Project you will learn how to ride and look after a motorbike plus improve your off-road motorbike skills in a safe environment. No previous experience needed!

Elm Court Thursday Evening Project

Somewhere to go! Something to do! At the Elm Court Thursday Evening Project we have a variety of activities and projects for teenagers, friendly staff and a whole host of fun and interesting things to get involved in.

 

Friday Night Project at 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood

This YC Hertfordshire youth project at 96 Shenley Road is for young people aged 13-17. Come along every Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Every week you can take part in cooking, sports, discussions, arts and crafts and get advice on a wide range of subjects. We also offer sexual health advice, free chlamydia testing and free condoms.

Fusion at 96 Project for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities, Borehamwood

The Fusion at 96 Project is a YC Hertfordshire project for young adults aged 18-24 with a moderate learning disability and takes place at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood. Come along on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. You'll get to spend time with other young adults who live in the area in a safe and relaxing environment. The project is run by professionally trained and supportive youth workers from YC Hertfordshire's Hertsmere Team. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests and learn new life skills.

Independent Living Skills Project, Borehamwood

This YC Hertfordshire Independent Living Skills Project is for young people in care or care leavers in the Hertsmere district aged 13-17.

'Loud' Young Women's Project, Potters Bar

The YC Hertfordshire 'Loud' Young Women's Project takes place every Monday evening at the Wayside Jubilee Centre in Potters Bar. It's for young women aged 13-17 who live in the Potters Bar area.

Oakmere Friday Evening Project

YC Hertfordshire run a weekly youth project at the Oakmere Estate for young people aged 13-17. It's a great space for young people to socialise, undertake new and exciting opportunities, and get involved in their local area. It runs every Friday evening at the Wayside Jubilee Centre in Potters Bar.

Positive Alternatives (+Alt) Project, Borehamwood

Positive Alternatives (+Alt) is a YC Hertfordshire programme for young people who may be at risk of becoming involved in gangs and violent crime. Come to this project at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood and learn how to keep yourself safe and make positive choices for your future.

Shine at 96 Project for Young People with Learning Disabilities, Borehamwood

Shine at 96 is a YC Hertfordshire youth project at 96 Shenley Road for young people aged 13-17 with learning disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. You'll get to spend time with other young people in a safe and relaxing environment. The project is run by professionally trained and supportive youth workers from YC Hertfordshire's Hertsmere Team. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests, participate in fun activities and learn new life skills.

Street-Based Youth Work Project, Aberford Park, Borehamwood

Are you aged 13-17? Do you and your friends spend time near Aberford Park in Borehamwood? Look out for the YC Hertfordshire Hertsmere Team youth workers on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm. You can chat to them, get advice and support, and find out what’s happening in your area for young people. You'll also have the opportunity to have your say on local matters that affect you as well as organise activities you and your friends will enjoy.

Street-Based Youth Work Project, Borehamwood Town Centre

Are you aged 13-17? Do you and your friends spend time in the Borehamwood area? Look out for the YC Hertfordshire youth workers on Friday evenings from 4pm to 6pm. You can chat to the youth workers, get advice and support, and find out what’s happening in your area for young people. You'll also have the opportunity to have your say on local matters that affect you as well as organize activities that you and your friends will enjoy.

'Supporting You' Emotional Wellbeing and Resilience Project, Borehamwood

If you are aged 13-17, live in the Hertsmere district, and would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with stress, anxiety or low mood, the YC Hertfordshire 'Supporting You' Project at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood could be for you.

The YC Hertfordshire Young Carers Project in Borehamwood is for young people aged 13-17 who have caring responsibilities. Come and meet other young carers, relax, laugh and have a bit of well-deserved 'me-time'!
