'Being Me' Young Women's Project
The YC Hertfordshire 'Being Me' Young Women's Project is for young women who live in the Watford area.
Duke of Edinburgh's Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a real adventure from beginning to end. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from, you just need to be aged between 14 and 17 (up to 24 for young people with additional needs) and ready to jump into the best time of your life! Come along to the Watford DofE sessions which are held every Monday (term-time only) from 5pm-7pm.
Empathy Project at Watford General Hospital
The YC Hertfordshire Empathy Project is a volunteering opportunity for young people in Hertfordshire. Nobody knows quite how a young person feels when they have to go to hospital in an emergency better than another young person. The Empathy Project enables young people aged 16 to 21 to volunteer as community navigators, administer social prescriptions and give emotional support to other young people attending A&E.
Friday Night Youth Project
Come along and meet new people at the YC Hertfordshire Friday Youth Project at the Watford Young People's Centre. There's loads to do including sports such as pool, table tennis and football.
Friday Youth Project at Harebreaks Community Hub
Come to this exciting youth project based at Harebreaks Community Hub, run by YC Hertfordshire in partnership with Watford Community Housing Trust. The Friday Youth Project is a great place to meet friends on a Friday evening. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
Leavesden Green Project
The YC Hertfordshire Leavesden Green Youth Project is an exciting project at Leavesden Green Community Hub for 13-17s in the Leavesden area. You can get involved in a variety of different activities from sports to art. Come along and check it out for yourself! YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
Meriden Youth Project at the Meriden Community Centre
Are you a young person living in the Meriden area of Watford? Would you like to meet other young people and get involved in all sorts of fun and interesting activities? Then come along to this YC Hertfordshire project at the Meriden Community Centre on Monday evenings. You can relax, have fun, make new friends!
PACT LGBTQ Project for 13-17s
The YC Hertfordshire PACT LGBTQ Project is a weekly project for young people aged 13-17 in the Watford area who are in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community and those who are questioning their sexuality. Come and enjoy meeting other young LGBTQ people in a safe space and help plan our weekly programmes.
Sexual Health Outreach Service at West Herts College, Watford
Do you have questions about sexual health and relationships? Want to know how you can keep yourself safe from STIs? Come to YC Hertfordshire’s sexual health outreach clinic at West Herts College in Watford. We also offer free condoms and free chlamydia screening.
Starburst Project for young adults with learning disabilities
'Starburst' is a YC Hertfordshire project with a focus on young adults with learning disabilities aged 18-24. Come along to the Watford Young People's Centre on Tuesday evenings to take part in a range of activities including drama, arts and crafts and cooking, in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
