YC Hertfordshire in Borehamwood support the Josh Hanson Trust making positive change against knife crime
17 September 2019
YC Hertfordshire was pleased to support the Josh Hanson Trust football tournament, which took place in Borehamwood last month.
The Josh Hanson trust was set up to change the story about knife crime, in response to the murder of Josh in October 2015 aged 21. YC Hertfordshire was invited to take part in the 4th Memorial Football Tournament which took place at Borehamwood Football Club and was an important day in the community. YC Hertfordshire staff were delighted to be part of this event working together to make positive changes to young people and their family’s lives. It was a great opportunity to promote projects and programmes to the local young people in Borehamwood and build relationships and engage young people.
The day proved to be a great success – with more than £3,000 being pledged to the charity.
